Taking a step forward toward her dream, Joana decided to open
JB Handmade to share with all of you her passion for Macrame. She’s pacific,
creative, and a very positive person with lots of ideas and dreams in her mind
and she found a true way to express it and bring some of her ideas into reality
in Macrame. It started four years ago, when she found that, with one simple
cord she can bring all the magic to life and since then, she’s been developing
her technique and creating smiles with the ones that fell in love with her
projects!

Originally from Portugal, she’s now based in Abu Dhabi and
you can also find her at some Local markets during the winter season. On her
free time, the beach and nature are the places where she feels comfortable and
energized, also, spending some quality time with good friends that are now her
family from the desert is a must!

She strongly believes that creativity is everywhere, specifically
in all of us, one of her favorite quotes is: "Clean out a
corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.”
